eTwinning is a European schools electronic community collaboration , where teachers and learners participating countries, as individuals, and groups can register and use the eTwinning online tools, virtual environments to meet each other, exchange experiences and ideas to implement, acquire teamwork skills, develop knowledge of foreign languages and computer skills, conduct online training and other educational programs. General organization of the work environment is eTwinning portal (etwinning.net). The portal is available in 25 languages, has 170 000 members, is implemented in the 5324 draft: Portal tools enable users to easily search and find partners to develop projects, to exchange experiences, share ideas and immediately began the work site.
«ETwinningplus» - is «eTwinning» - in part to the expansion of the European neighborhood. The program includes six European neighbour countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, which are part of the Eastern Partnership, and Tunisia, which is the European Mediterranean Partnership. In ArmeniaThe eTwinning work is coordinated by the National Center for Educational Technologies.
In March 2013, from Armenian 7 provinces and Erevan 22 schools, including "MkhitarSebastatsi" Institution, officially joined the eTwinning Plus program.
Institution of being a member of eTwinning community, in addition to the projects (1.2, 3), also participated in the 2013 September 13-15 AGHVERAN organized in inspection training, May 17-19, 2014 seminar devoted teachers organized an international meeting-consultation.
" eTwinningplusArmenia" program will continue in the new year and new opportunities are expected to be. Particularly
going to be "mid-level English Language (Intermediate)» distance course, which may be registered in eTwinning Portal not teaching English teachers (50 people)
going to "Media tools within the most successful eTwinning projects for" distance course, which may be registered in the eTwinning portal for all teachers (25 people).
